Yam, wolfberry and hawthorn soup
Overview
When I came back from the National Day trip, I made a special trip to Jiaozuo Wen County and bought local loam soil yam. The loess soil yam is very irregular in shape, uneven in thickness, low in water and sticky, and tastes soft and different from other yams. It is very nourishing when stewed in soup, braised with meat, steamed or boiled in sugar water.
