Chive Cookies
Overview
My mother-in-law is diabetic and cannot eat anything too sweet, but she gets hungry in the afternoon and always eats snacks. So I often make these chive cookies and keep them in a cookie jar, eat a few slices, drink a glass of milk, and have a simple afternoon tea. The recipe comes from I Love Baking. The original recipe is 40 grams of powdered sugar and 40 grams of fine sugar. I only used 40 grams of powdered sugar and added about 3 grams of salt. The result is salty and sweet, which is delicious.
