Panda Bento
Overview
I have been watching videos of giant pandas recently. I really love the cute and clingy bear dumpling! If we can’t find a real panda, let’s create our own bear dumpling! This recipe is written for Hokjun multi-grain rice, so the black rice balls in the video use Hokjun rice. Unfortunately, Hokjun rice has too few black ingredients, so I added a handful of black rice and black sesame seeds. If you don’t use Hokjun rice, just use black rice.

Steps
-
Northern pure rice + black rice, and rice, soaked overnight in advance.
-
Put multigrain rice and rice into small bowls respectively, add water to cover the rice noodles by about half a centimeter, and steam them into rice.
-
The fried vegetables are placed on the bottom of the lunch box.
-
Pinch a larger white rice ball to make the panda's body.
-
Pinch two pieces of black multigrain rice to make panda legs, which are U-shaped, with the hind legs attached to both sides of the body and the front legs stretched forward; then pinch a small white rice ball to make a tail.
-
Then pinch a white rice ball about the same size as the body, pick two black beans from the multigrain rice to make the eyes, and black sesame seeds to make the nose.
-
Swing it to the middle of your front legs and try to fit it as close to your body as possible.
-
Arrange the shape and the bear dumplings are ready!

Isn’t it cute? Go and seduce the kids!
