Ingredients
Steps
-
Beat milk + corn oil + fine sugar with a manual egg beater
-
Add egg yolk and mix well
-
Sift in the flour and mix until smooth and without any particles.
-
Add sugar to the egg whites in three batches and beat until wet and foamy. Use a whisk to pull out large curved hooks.
-
Add one-third of the meringue to the egg yolk batter and mix evenly
-
Pour it back into the protein bowl and continue to mix evenly
-
Mixed cake batter
-
Pour the cake batter into the gold plate and gently shake out the air bubbles! Place in the preheated oven, bake at 150 degrees, middle rack, for 25 minutes
-
Leave to cool
-
Use a heart-shaped mold to cut out two slices of cake and set aside.
-
Pressed with a mousse ring, it's very beautiful.
-
Soak the gelatine sheets in cold water in advance and set aside
-
Puree 200g strawberries, heat over water (about 50 degrees), add soaked gelatin sheets, stir constantly until melted, and let cool.
-
Whip the whipping cream + sugar until it is flowing (lines will appear, and the whipping cream that drips when you lift the whisk can be piled on the surface without disappearing immediately).
-
Mix the whipped cream and strawberry solution.
-
Wrap the bottom of the mousse ring with plastic wrap and tin foil, put the heart-shaped cake slices into the bottom layer of the mold, cut the large strawberries in half, place the cross-sections outwards on the edge of the mold, and pour a layer of mousse liquid
-
Add a few chopped strawberries
-
Place the small piece of cake flat on top of the mousse liquid, then pour in the remaining mousse liquid and smooth the surface.
-
Cover the surface of the mold with a layer of tin foil to prevent odor transfer from the refrigerator, and refrigerate overnight. (I forgot to take a photo, so I used the demoulding diagram instead)
-
The next day, use a hair dryer to heat it slightly to remove the mold.
-
Whip the light cream + sugar to a piping state, put it into a piping bag, use a round piping nozzle to pipe a circle of cream on the cake, then fill the middle with cut strawberries to decorate, and a high-looking cake is born!
-
Insert bad cards, simple but not simple.
-
A cake perfect for Mother's Day. Give Mom a cake made by yourself, Mom will definitely like it.
