Red sports car cake
Overview
I have made cakes for two cars before. This time it was my friend’s son’s birthday. He is a car lover and asked me to make a sports car cake, preferably a convertible one! This is another problem for me. I don’t know much about famous cars, so I made it based on my feelings. After I finished it, I felt that the front end of the car should actually be shorter and longer. As for the convertible, haha, I built a frame and squeezed two white seats into the light cream. Let the boy take his little girlfriend for a ride!

Add 30 grams of sugar to the egg whites and beat evenly.

Add salad oil in 3 portions.

Add milk gradually and mix well.
-
Sift in the flour.
-
Use a spatula to mix evenly until there are no lumps and the batter is smooth.
-
Add a few drops of lemon juice to the egg whites.
-
Beat with an electric mixer until foamy, add 20 grams of sugar.
-
Beat until the big bubbles disappear and the bubbles are uniform and fine, then add 20 grams of white sugar.
-
Continue beating until the egg whites are thicker and lines appear on the surface, then add the last bit of white sugar.
-
Continue whipping until it becomes dry foam and the egg whites can form short, upright peaks.
-
Add 1/3 of the egg whites to the egg yolk batter.
-
Gently stir up and down with a spatula.
-
Pour into the egg whites and mix well by turning and cutting.
-
Pour it into the cake mold, lift it up and shake it gently up and down a few times, then place it on the countertop and shake it a few times with a little force. This will eliminate the bubbles inside and make the surface look smoother.

Place the middle and lower racks of the oven at 135 degrees for 1 hour.
-
expansion process.
-
Remove and let cool, then unmold.
-
The cake is divided into three parts as shown in the picture.
-
There are three layers in the middle. You can also divide it into two layers. I want to put more mangoes.
-
Whip the light cream with powdered sugar.
-
Spread light cream on the first layer and add an appropriate amount of mango.
-
Finally wipe the face.
-
Cut off the remaining corner to make a windshield. Make a circle at the back and spread with whipped cream.
-
Attach Oreo cookies to the sides to make wheels. Color the remaining whipped cream red and put it into a piping bag.
-
Squeeze the car body and squeeze the white on the headlights.
-
After melting the dark chocolate, put it into a piping bag and draw lines. The lines are not smooth. I can't help it. My hands are shaking. Melt the white chocolate and draw a rearview mirror on the oil paper. Let it freeze in the refrigerator and put it on.
-
Finally, use a piping tip to pipe two semicircles to serve as seats.

Does it feel like a car show? Haha
