Overview
Winter melon buns, although they contain meat, are very light and extremely nutritious.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Cut the pork belly into cubes, add light soy sauce, salt and sesame oil, marinate for 15 minutes and set aside;
-
Cut the winter melon into cubes, do not squeeze out the water;
-
Pour the marinated pork belly into the winter melon filling;
-
Put the two ingredients together, add salt, light soy sauce, sesame oil, and peanut oil and stir evenly (it is not recommended to add dark soy sauce, the color is too strong, the color of the vegetables cannot be seen, and the flavor cannot be tasted);
-
Add Angel yeast to the flour for fermentation (about 250 grams of water and 3 grams of yeast powder per pound of flour);
-
Knead the fermented dough smoothly, cut it into small pieces, roll it out, and wrap it with winter melon filling (I omitted the wrapping method)
-
Put the steamed buns into cold water and steam for 15 minutes, then simmer for another 5 minutes and take them out;
-
These are the fried buns I made the next day. You don’t need to put oil in the electric pan, just put the buns directly. The fried buns will be crispy on both sides and very crispy.
