Pour in all the ingredients except black sesame seeds, bean paste filling, and butter in order from liquid to solid. Remember to put the yeast last. Make a hole in the middle of the flour and put it in. Leave a little egg liquid for brushing the bread later

After 20 minutes in the dough mixer

Add the softened and diced butter and continue kneading for 30 minutes

Knead it into a hand mask, and then you can rest the dough. The dough will rise to 2-2.5 times in size. The dough mixer I use has a resting function of 1 hour

After gently softening the dough for a few times, divide it into three equal parts, cover with plastic wrap, and continue to rest for 15 minutes

Then roll out each small ball as shown in the picture. Remember to squeeze out the air bubbles in the dough when rolling out, and then fold both sides in half

Gently roll up as shown in the picture

After rolling up, continue to cover with plastic wrap and rest for 10 minutes

Then roll each piece of dough into a long strip and coat it with bean paste

Roll it up and put it in the toast box

Cover with plastic wrap and rest for the last time,

I put the toast box covered with plastic wrap into the oven, put a bowl of boiling water on the lower shelf, and closed the oven door for about 45-50 minutes

The toast expands to 80% of the height of the toast box. Take it out, brush the surface with egg wash, and then sprinkle some black sesame seeds

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, then put the toast in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. In the picture, there is an extra braided bean paste bun that I made, which is also baked together! The one on the right is toast. After it swells, the surface begins to color. When the color is good, it needs to be taken out halfway. There is also a layer of tin foil on top of the toast to prevent the surface from burning!
