Date Rice Cake
Overview
The rice cake is layered with Ruoqiang red date puree, which has a sweet taste. If you like sushi, you can add more sushi vinegar, and add some chopped seaweed to the fruit and vegetable layer. It is also delicious and a quick lunch for spring travel.

Soak black rice overnight in advance

Rice steamed white rice

Add some white rice to the black rice and steam the black rice. Add salt, sushi vinegar and sugar to the rice and mix well

One egg, beaten thoroughly. Dice carrots, cucumbers and ham. Once the pan is hot, spread the eggs into thin pancakes.

Place a layer of white rice on the bottom and tamp down with the back of a spoon. For decorative effect, try to use white rice on top after inversion.

Make jujube puree from red dates and set aside.

Mix the diced carrots with red date puree and spread evenly on the rice

Spread a layer of black rice and compact it, then sprinkle with diced ham mixed with date paste

Spread a layer of white rice and then a layer of diced cucumbers

Finally, spread a layer of black rice, level and compact

Cool the egg pancake and cut into thin strips.
