Leftover rice turns into crispy rice
Overview
I didn’t pay too much attention while making it, so I didn’t take any photos of the finished product. The key is that it’s gone as soon as you eat it 😂😂😂. These are the steps I took after making it a few times to record... I think the curry-flavored, onion-flavored, and five-flavored ones are particularly delicious. Compared with the ones bought from outside, they are chewier and have a more solid texture. Of course, they are healthier and more fun to make by yourself~😇 The recipes I wrote today are mainly five-flavored ones

Ingredients
Steps
-
Add eggs, five-spice powder, salt, green onions, and appropriate amount of light soy sauce to the leftover rice
-
Stir evenly because there is egg liquid and light soy sauce, so it is in a relatively wet state
-
Then slowly add an appropriate amount of glutinous rice flour and stir evenly. It doesn't need to be too wet. Just hold the rice with your hands and hold it together until it forms a ball
-
Put a handful of rice on a chopping board lined with plastic wrap. First, dip your hands in a little water to prevent sticking and flatten it
-
Then put a piece of plastic wrap on top and use a rolling pin to roll it into a pancake shape
-
Sprinkle some flour lightly to prevent sticking and cut into appropriate small pieces with a knife
-
You can do whatever you want
-
Heat oil in the pan and fry slowly over low heat until the rice cakes make a hard sound when they hit each other. Break them apart with your hands and become crispy.
-
The finished product is the fried five-flavored finished product
-
The finished product is very delicious
-
The finished product is curry-flavored with eggs, cornmeal, curry powder, chili powder, salt... I prefer the curry-flavored one in terms of color and texture!
-
Can you feel the crispy texture of the finished product👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 (The kitchen lights are dim, so this is chive flavored without allspice)

After the finished product cooled down, I put it in a sealed crisper. I ate it for two weeks and it was still crispy. I think it’s okay to keep it sealed for a few months~ However, I can’t keep it for that long. 😍😍😍😍 You can also put some desiccant in snack bags, such as melon seeds and potato chip packaging, to keep it longer 👏🏼👏🏼
