Cut butter into small pieces and soften at room temperature

Add powdered sugar and beat with a whisk until slightly white

Cut the rock sugar orange in half and squeeze out half of the orange juice.

Pour orange juice into butter and beat evenly, then add an egg yolk and beat evenly

Peel out the macadamia nuts

Chop the macadamia nuts slightly with a knife.

Pour the chopped nuts into the butter and mix well with a spatula

Sift in low-gluten flour

Use a spatula to cut and mix until there is no dry flour left.

Take half of the dough and put it into a plastic bag.

Shape into a rectangular shape and place in the freezer of the refrigerator for about an hour.

Take out the frozen dough

Use a knife to cut biscuits about 0.5 cm thick

Arrange neatly on a baking sheet lined with greaseproof paper

Place the baking sheet into the middle rack of the oven, heat up and down to 180 degrees, and bake for about 12 minutes.

The cookies are slightly soft when they come out of the oven and will crisp up once they cool completely. Bake until the edges turn slightly golden and take out of the oven.
