Prepare the chicken legs, ask for big chicken legs

Debone the chicken legs and poke a few holes in the skin with a fork, otherwise it will wrinkle when you put it in the pot

Prepare the teriyaki sauce and pour it over the chicken legs to marinate. If not, you can make your own teriyaki sauce. Add cooking wine, salt, and five-spice powder to a bowl to marinate. Add 2 tablespoons of cooking wine, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce to the bowl. Mix well and prepare the teriyaki sauce.

Pour a little oil into the frying pan. When the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken legs, skin side down.

When both sides are fried until golden brown, add the teriyaki sauce. Reduce the juice over low heat, stirring constantly in between.

It's best not to let all the juice dry up. It will be more delicious if you leave some of it and pour it on the rice.
