Konjac-crusted fish cubes

I prefer to eat konjac, usually roast duck, this time I want to roast fish.

Remove the scales of grass carp, wash it, cut it into finger-thick slices, put it in a basin, add cooking wine, green onion segments, peppercorns, salt and water and soak for about 15 minutes.

Konjac knot cleanses and controls water.

Pour a little oil into the wok, add green onion segments, dried chili pepper segments, peppercorns, and ginger slices, and stir-fry over low heat until fragrant.

Pour in enough water and bring to a boil.

Add soy sauce, cooking wine, light soy sauce, a little vinegar, and sugar and cook for about 3 minutes.

Add marinated fish pieces. (No water for kippers)

Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes.

Pour in the konjac knots and cook for about 10 minutes.

Add salt to taste and mix carefully to combine.

Remove from the pan and serve on a plate, sprinkle with chopped green onion.
