Cheese Chicken Floss
Overview
My children like to eat meat floss, so I often make meat floss and have distributed several varieties of meat floss, but I have never distributed chicken floss. Mainly because my children don’t like chicken, haha! But chicken floss is actually very delicious, and it is much simpler and more convenient to make than beef and other types of floss. Moreover, using chicken breast, there is almost no fascia, and the yield is extremely high. With so many advantages, I still made one and shared it with everyone. This time I used a bread machine to fry it, which saved me a lot of effort. If I don’t have a bread machine, I can just fry it in a wok. Cheese powder is added to the floss at the end, and the baking process completed by the bread machine is just right.

Steps
-
Soak the chicken breasts in water and rinse them several times, then add the cooking ingredients: star anise, pepper, chili, and ginger. Add water and bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for half an hour
-
After cooking, remove and let cool.
-
Shred the cooled chicken into strips
-
Put it into a plastic bag, roll it out with a rolling pin, and press it hard repeatedly until it looks like they are all stuck together
-
Shake to loosen the shredded meat.
-
Place in a bread machine and add salt, sugar, pepper and extra soy sauce
-
Use the stir-fry function to stir-fry for about half an hour. The fried shredded pork is not completely dry
-
Stir the fried shredded pork with the meat grinder cup of the food processor for about 10 seconds to make the pork floss fluffy and look like pork floss
-
Put it back into the bread machine and stir-fry for about 15-20 minutes until the pork floss is dry.
-
Take out the bread bucket, let the meat floss cool properly, finally add cheese powder and mix well
-
Let the prepared pork floss cool completely and then store it in a sealed box. Because it is relatively dry when fried, it can be stored at room temperature for about a month in the north this season. Of course, it is best to store it in the refrigerator.
