Soak the scallops in water and steam them in an open pot. Bring to a boil over high heat and lower the heat for five minutes.

Cut the chicken into small pieces, shred the ginger, slice the green onions and crush the scallops and set aside.

Wash the rice, put it in a casserole, add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then turn to low heat and cook.

Tear the soaked scallops into thin strips, add them to the porridge and cook for 15 minutes.
