Golden bean paste roll
Overview
This snack is derived from Mr. Jun’s golden jujube paste rolls. Because my mother loves bean paste, she changed it to bean paste filling. The fillings can be adjusted according to personal preference.

After the butter is softened, add powdered sugar

Mix well and then add high-gluten flour.

Rub the butter and flour together with your hands

In the state of coarse cornmeal.

Pour in the beaten eggs

Knead into dough.

Place the dough in the refrigerator for about half an hour to make it firmer.

Take an appropriate amount of dough and roll it into a long shape on the cutting board.

Roll out the long strip into a regular rectangle, and squeeze a long strip of bean paste filling into the center of the dough sheet.

Wrap the filling with dough sheets to form a long cylindrical strip.

Brush the surface of the strip with egg wash

Sprinkle with white sesame seeds

Cut into small pieces.

Place the small pieces on the baking sheet, place in the preheated oven, bake at 170°C up and down for 15-20 minutes, until the surface is golden brown. (Please adjust the firepower according to each oven)
