Steps

  1. Prepare materials. (I’ve already cooked the sweet potatoes here; also, for yogurt, it’s better to use ordinary yogurt. Because my daughter doesn’t want to eat this yogurt, I used this children’s yogurt)

  2. Add glutinous rice flour to sweet potatoes and knead them into a dough that is not sticky to your hands (if your sweet potatoes are not sweet enough, you can add an appropriate amount of sugar)

  3. Yogurt should be frozen in the refrigerator in advance, and then cut into pieces after freezing. (Because this children’s yogurt bottle is tall and difficult to take out, I only froze it until it is 70% to 80%, and then scoop it out with a spoon.) Divide the kneaded dough into a ball, flatten it, put a piece of yogurt on it, and roll it into a round shape.

  4. Put the prepared sweet potato dough into white sesame seeds and roll it around so that the outside is covered with white sesame seeds

  5. After the oil is cooked for 6 seconds, add the sesame balls and fry them. Fry until the surface is golden brown.

  6. After frying, put on absorbent paper to absorb excess fat on the surface. (This step can also be omitted, but for me, a less oily person, this is a must)
