  1. Clean the snow peas and tear off the old edges

  2. Peel the carrots and cut them into long slices, break the fresh lilies into small pieces and clean them

  3. .Peel the lotus root, cut into small slices, soak in water and set aside

  4. Blanch snow peas in boiling water, remove and drain

  5. Heat oil in a pan, add carrot slices and stir-fry for half a minute
