Carbonara rice cake
Overview
I wonder if you have eaten SchoolFood? One of the signature dishes of this restaurant is this carbonara rice cake. The fragrant carbonara sauce paired with the glutinous rice cake has a unique flavor. I like to eat it very much, but it’s too expensive in the restaurant! TT So, one day I had a whim and wanted to try doing it myself. I didn’t expect it to taste quite good. If you are tired of eating Chinese food, you can try making it. The method is really simple, hahaha.

Steps

The white sauce I used was just cream and cheese. Some white sauces contain spinach, which will taste sour, so you can choose this if you are afraid of being tired.
-
First cut the thin rice cake strips into strips. If the strips are too long, cut them in half. Pour into boiling water and cook until soft, remove and set aside.
-
Cut onions into strips and bacon into cubes. If you like more onions or bacon, you can add more.
-
Cut off about a thin slice of butter.
-
Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the onions and bacon. If you like your onions cooked, you can fry them longer, but be careful that the meat sticks to the pan.
-
Pour in half the can of white sauce, stir, and then pour in the reserved rice cake. Likewise, you can add more if you like it juicier.
-
Stir it back and forth for a while and it's done~
