Crack an egg into a small bowl.

Add a few drops of rice wine and stir evenly, add an appropriate amount of salt to taste, and filter twice with a strainer.

Wrap the small bowl in plastic wrap, poke small holes with a toothpick and place it on the steaming rack.

Cover the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, turn to medium heat and steam for 5-8 minutes, then steam for 3 minutes.

Take out the steamed custard and remove the plastic wrap.

Add an appropriate amount of very fresh soy sauce, a few drops of sesame oil for seasoning, and sprinkle with chopped green onion and serve.
