Blackcurrant Peanut Nougat
Overview
Once I bought black currants at an imported goods store. I would get tired of eating them alone, so I used them to make nougat. The result was unexpectedly delicious! Blackcurrants are very rich in vitamin C, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, calcium, anthocyanins, and phenolic substances. Known health benefits of blackcurrant include the prevention of gout, anemia, edema, arthritis, rheumatism, oral and throat diseases, coughs, etc.
