Pig intestine stuffed with glutinous rice
Overview
This is my first time making pig intestines stuffed with glutinous rice because I miss the taste of my hometown! So I thought about it and made this. Washing pig intestines is a big project! Fortunately, I was very satisfied with the final result and I was not disappointed! The pig intestines have no unpleasant smell, and the glutinous rice is also very fragrant and delicious! It’s just my first post and it’s a little messy, so please forgive me!

Steps
-
Soak the glutinous rice for 3 hours, cook the peanuts in hot water and use the pig intestines to remove the fat on the sides. Use cornstarch and white vinegar to clean the dirt inside! (I forgot to take pictures of this step) Then mix the glutinous rice and peanuts together, and fill the enema for 7 minutes, because the glutinous rice will expand after cooking
-
You need to use a deeper cooking pot, place the stuffed pig intestines and glutinous rice in the pot (by the way, I forgot to mention that the two ends should be tied tightly with cotton thread or straw rope when enema), then cover the pig intestines with water, bring to a boil over high heat and simmer for about an hour!
-
During the cooking process, use a toothpick to poke some small holes in the enema so that the glutinous rice inside can come into contact with the water and cook thoroughly! Then during the cooking time, make syrup, brown sugar, and water. Bring to a boil. Add a little cornstarch to thicken it until it becomes thick. Fry the chopped green onion until golden brown, then mix it into the syrup and stir-fry the white sesame seeds.
-
The last step is to cut the pig intestines and glutinous rice to prevent the glutinous rice from sticking to the knife. Before cutting, apply some water or oil, cut and sprinkle with sesame seeds, then drizzle with syrup and serve!
