Remove the internal organs of the pomfret, clean the gills, scales and the black membrane in the belly, and cut into prismatic cuts

Slice onions, slices of ginger, slices of garlic, and cilantro, and set aside one star anise

Heat the pan with oil, add onion, ginger, garlic and star anise and sauté until fragrant

Cook cooking wine, light soy sauce and balsamic vinegar in a pot and add a little sugar

Add the pomfret and fry until both sides are brown

Add appropriate amount of water and salt, bring to a boil over high heat and then simmer over low heat

Simmer until the soup thickens and turn off the heat

Remove from pan and plate

Sprinkle the coriander segments and pour the soup over it
