Prepare materials

Cut the onion into sections and grind in a food processor along with the garlic cloves.

Heat a pan over medium-low heat and melt the butter.

Pour the chopped onions into the pot and stir-fry for a while

Squeeze in appropriate amount of tomato paste and stir-fry evenly

Drizzle a little umami soy sauce

Sprinkle in basil leaves and black pepper and stir-fry evenly

Add a pinch of salt to taste.

Turn to low heat, cover and simmer for a few minutes

When the sauce thickens, turn off the heat and serve

Put into an airtight jar, cool and refrigerate, and use within 2-3 days.
