Remove the fat from the sandwich meat and cut into small pieces. (I used the fat this time to make sausage.)

Add all the ingredients except honey and marinate for half a day.

No need to add oil to the non-stick pan. Fry the marinated meat over high heat until it changes color.

Flip and continue frying until the other side changes color.

Pour in the marinade and half a bowl of water, cover with a lid, bring to a boil over high heat and reduce to medium to low heat for 20 minutes. (If you use pork belly, it will take more than 1 hour to cook. The fatty meat should be cooked until it melts in your mouth so that it is not greasy. The lean meat should be cooked until it is cooked. It will become more woody after a long time.)

Reduce the juice over high heat and brush with a layer of honey. (You can omit it if you don’t like it too sweet, but the flavor will be better if you add honey.)
