Pumpkin hollow balls
Overview
I can make pumpkin, sesame and glutinous rice hollow balls, a dessert that my family loves! There were a lot of twists and turns in the beginning, but the pumpkin balls fried using this method will not deform after cooling.

Steps
-
Steam the pumpkin and add sugar.
-
Add glutinous rice flour and knead into a non-sticky dough.
-
Divide into small balls equally.
-
Place the sesame seeds in a plate, roll them around, and press them firmly with your hands (to prevent the sesame seeds from scattering)
-
Put appropriate amount of oil in the pot and turn on medium-low heat. The more oil, the better for frying.
-
Put your hand over the oil surface and put in the pumpkin balls if it feels a little hot.
-
When the pumpkin balls float, use a spatula to gently flatten the pumpkin balls. Wait until the pumpkin balls swell and then flatten them again. Repeat several times. And flip the squash balls so they cook evenly.
-
Fry until the pumpkin balls are a little translucent and colored.
-
The freshly baked pumpkin balls are crispy on the outside, soft and hollow on the inside. It retains its original shape even when cold.
