Frosted fondant cake
Overview
What to do if there is so much fondant paste left? Keep making it. This is a method suitable for lazy people. What should I do if I don’t have any drawing skills? Use the mold to complete O(∩_∩)O

Ingredients
Steps
-
Put the egg whites into a water-free and oil-free basin, use an electric egg beater to beat bubbles and add lemon juice
-
Continue beating until the egg whites can stand up to a small peak when the whisk is picked up
-
Add icing sugar in three batches and beat until smooth
-
Pour the icing sugar into a piping bag and set aside
-
Use a toothpick to add coloring to the fondant paste to get the color you want
-
Apply a layer of white oil on a rubber pad, roll out the fondant paste into a thin sheet, and cover the cake. It is best to roll it out larger so that the surface will be smooth
-
Remove excess fondant paste from the edges
-
Use the pattern mold to gently press out the pattern
-
Cut a small opening in the piping bag, do not cut it too big, and pipe icing along the flower print
-
I use an oil painting pen, dipped in some water
-
Gently scratch the surface of the frosting a few times
-
I had already started printing and then I remembered that I hadn’t made the lace yet. I rolled the original color fondant paste into a long strip and wrapped it around the bottom of the cake. Use a tool to press out a spiral pattern
-
After drawing them all, use a small mold to print one
-
Continue to draw
-
Squeeze out the flowers
-
Then there are small flowers printed on the side
-
There are also leaves
-
Butterfly
-
When it’s done, I printed two layers on the first one and one layer on the others. This cake is small, but if it were a big cake, it would still look better with two layers
