  1. Material preparation.

  2. Cut the butter into small pieces, soften at room temperature, and sift in the brown sugar.

  6. Use a rubber spatula to stir evenly until the flour and butter are completely combined into a batter. The batter may be very sticky at this point, making it difficult to shape. Place the batter in the refrigerator for about half an hour to make it dry and non-sticky.

  7. Chop 40 grams of walnuts. Chop the walnut kernels as finely as possible.

  12. Place the baking sheet into the middle rack of a preheated 180°C oven, bake for about 10 minutes, take it out, brush a layer of honey on the surface of the walnuts, put it back into the oven and continue baking for about 8 minutes, until the dough turns brown and is ready to be baked.
