Steps
-
Steam and peel the purple sweet potato, add sugar (amount according to your preference) and mash it with a spoon into purple sweet potato puree and set aside
-
Add an appropriate amount of yeast and flour to the purple sweet potato puree and knead it into a smooth dough. You can also add an appropriate amount of milk or water. I didn't add any water. The dough is dark and beautiful.
-
Add flour, yeast, milk or water and knead into a white dough and set aside
-
Cover the two pieces of dough with plastic wrap and ferment until doubled in size
-
Take out the two pieces of fermented dough and divide them evenly into several small portions for later use
-
Wrap the white dough into a piece of purple potato dough and use a knife to cut it into a cross (dip the knife in some flour to prevent sticking and reveal the purple color. Don’t cut too deep. It will swell after secondary fermentation and affect the shape. Mine is because it was the first time I made woo woo)
-
I wrapped the remaining white dough into bean paste stuffing purchased from the supermarket and made several shapes of flowers and caterpillars
-
Pour cold water in the steamer and put the dough neatly into the dough for secondary fermentation. Let it rest for about fifteen minutes. Then turn on the large pot and bring it to a boil. Then turn to medium heat for twenty minutes. Turn off the heat and simmer for three to two minutes. Then remove from the pot. Be careful not to burn your hands

It’s very beautiful and nutritious. My family likes to eat it. Some people don’t like to eat pasta, so everyone should put some effort into the styling
