Steps
-
Prepare all ingredients
-
Put all the ingredients in a good proportion into the bread machine except butter, start the dough function and knead for 20 minutes.
-
In the post-oil method, add melted butter at room temperature and continue kneading for 20 minutes.
-
Knead until the dough is ready (the film can be pulled out) and the dough is ready
-
Then start the fermentation function and ferment for about 30 minutes. Use your fingers to rub the dough into it. If it does not shrink back, it is ready.
-
Take out the fermented dough and divide it into two parts. Roll it into a round shape and cover it with plastic wrap to rest for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, use a rolling pin to shape the dough into a rectangular shape. Coat it with coconut powder. Use a fruit knife to cut the other side of the dough into small strips and place them on the dough. Then put chocolate beans on the dough to serve as the eyes of the caterpillar
-
Then put a piece of oil-absorbing paper on the baking sheet, put the shaped caterpillar bread on the baking sheet, and put the baking sheet into the middle of the oven. Turn the heat up and down at 150° and bake for about 18-20 minutes. Because this was my first time making bread, I didn't bake it well, and the shape of the caterpillar bread wasn't ready either. I hope all you baking experts won't laugh at me after reading this.
