-
Wash the Chinese cabbage and drain the water. Apply salt evenly to the stem of the Chinese cabbage. You can also apply a little salt to the leaves. I pickled it the night before and it took about ten hours. The pickled cabbage will be a little soft. Rinse off the excess salt with water and dry it, as shown in the picture.
-
Add an appropriate amount of water to the glutinous rice flour and stir evenly first. The amount of water determines the consistency of the paste. Then cook over low heat, stirring while cooking, otherwise it will be easy to paste. Cook until thick and white, then let cool and set aside.
-
Chop apples, pears, ginger, and garlic into small dices.
-
Beat into mud as shown in the picture.
-
Mix the fruit puree and glutinous rice paste evenly. Then add chili powder, I didn’t add a lot because I was afraid of the spiciness.
-
I like to tear the cabbage into pieces, which makes it more flavorful, and spread the prepared sauce evenly on the cabbage.
