Wash the pumpkin and cut into thick slices.

Arrange the pumpkin slices on a baking sheet, grind in sea salt and cracked black pepper, drizzle with olive oil and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 230C, add the seasoned pumpkin and bake on the middle rack for 10 minutes until fragrant.

Sprinkle in pine nuts and continue to bake for about 2 minutes, then take out and sprinkle with chopped basil.
