Spiced quail eggs
Overview
On Qingming Festival, my husband will go home to worship his ancestors. Boil some quail eggs and take them on the road. During the Qingming Festival holiday, I went to Lianhua Mountain with my colleagues and cooked something to eat together.

Wash the quail eggs with clean water, put them in a pot with cold water and bring to a boil over low heat. If the heat is too high, the eggs will explode

Rinse again with cold water. The egg skin is easy to peel after rinsing it with cold water

Put down all the spices and add some salt. Bring cold water to a boil. After boiling, turn down the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for about an hour

After the juice is reduced over high heat, it’s ready to serve!
