Braised Pork-Jinshi
Overview
Braised pork is a dish worthy of being put on the table~~ I went out too late this time and didn’t buy a good-looking pork belly. It was quite big and I couldn’t cut it into cubes. It doesn’t look that good when done. It’s better to buy a whole strip of good-looking pork belly and cut it into cubes~

Steps
-
Wash the pork belly and cut it into square pieces. Boil water, pour the pork belly in and cook. Prepare another large bowl with cold water. Pick up the cooked meat and run it under cold water.
-
Peel and cut potatoes into cubes, pour boiling water over them
-
Boil the quail eggs under cold water for about 3 minutes. Peel off the egg shells and make a few cuts on them with a knife to facilitate the flavoring
-
Use a knife to cut the broccoli into small stalks and wash them clean. Boil water and pour the broccoli into it. Add a little salt and oil. The cooked broccoli will be bright in color. After cooking, drain and place on a plate
-
Heat the pan, add an appropriate amount of oil, stir-fry the pork belly when the oil is slightly hot, add two small spoons of sugar, and stir-fry until the meat turns slightly brown
-
Add two tablespoons each of soy sauce, light soy sauce, and oil, and stir-fry over high heat (the actual amount depends on the amount. I used dark soy sauce here and it turned dark. In reality, 4 tablespoons of soy sauce and two tablespoons of oil can be used, and the color of the stir-fry will not be too dark)

Add the green onion and stir-fry. Cut the green onion into one inch. Add the potatoes and quail eggs and continue to stir-fry
-
Add water to cover the ingredients, add star anise leaves, and add a little salt
-
Stir the ingredients and water evenly, then cover the pot, simmer over medium heat until the soup thickens, and put it into the prepared broccoli plate
