Fried dried tofu

Fried dried tofu

Overview

My grandma loved this when she was alive, so this one stood out to me. But I don’t make this often because it is fried food, so it doesn’t hurt to make it and eat it once in a while! It can be used for stir-fries and soups. Very fragrant!

Steps

  1. First cut the tofu into small pieces, but not too thin or too thick. If it is thin, it will be difficult to shape, and if it is thick, it will be too time-consuming to fry.

  2. Pour an appropriate amount of rapeseed oil, not too much, but it depends on what kind of pan you use. Usually, you need to pour more oil in an ordinary pan, because ordinary pans consume oil. I use a non-stick frying pan. First heat the oil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and fry. Use chopsticks to turn over when frying.

  3. Fry until golden brown on both sides, scoop it up, and place it in a basin that has been wiped dry in advance. (It is best to use a larger basin, because the last process is difficult because the utensils are small and difficult to operate)

  4. After finally frying, put it in a basin to cool for a few minutes. After cooling, sprinkle an appropriate amount of salt on it for storage. Place in the refrigerator until completely cooled.
