Mix purple sweet potato puree, yeast, flour, and sugar into a smooth dough, cover with a damp cloth and leave in a warm place to ferment.

Take out the fermented dough, place it on a chopping board, knead to deflate, and divide into small portions.

Roll the pumpkin dough into a small round piece, roll the purple potato dough into a round shape and place it on the pumpkin dough piece, wrap the purple dough inside and close it up. Purple sweet potato and pumpkin were swapped to make another one.

Flatten the dough and cut into eight pieces without cutting in the middle.

Twist each cut piece from underneath and place sides on top.

After the dough has risen, pour cold water into the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, turn to medium heat and steam for 15 minutes, turn off the heat and steam for 3-5 minutes before taking it out.
