Soak rice in water for one hour and millet for 20 minutes.

Dice celery.

Pour in 850 ml of water and bring to a boil.

Add rice and millet, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat. Stir constantly and turn off the heat after a few minutes. Cover the pot and simmer for 20 minutes.

When the rice grains are soft and tender, add the diced celery over high heat.
