Chop onion, ginger and water chestnuts, stuff quail eggs with meat and set aside

Soak and wash mushrooms

Add the onions, ginger, water chestnuts and seasonings to the meat filling and stir evenly

Spread the meat filling thinly into the mushrooms

Place the quail eggs on top of the meat filling, steam over high heat for 20 minutes, and add the sauce as you like
