Homemade small sausages
Overview
My little girl loves grilled sausages. I don’t know what’s inside the ones sold outside, so I decided to try making some myself. At least I can eat them with confidence

Ingredients
Steps
-
I bought the hind leg meat and mixed it into stuffing
-
I bought chicken breasts and chopped them into fillings myself
-
Sheep intestines bought on Taobao and artifacts for enema
-
Wash the casings several times and soak them for 20 minutes
-
Use a juicer to squeeze the onion and ginger into a puree
-
Add the fillings (be sure to add them little by little when mixing, don’t put too much like me, especially dark soy sauce, add less or the color will be too dark). Explain why there are several pots of fillings, because I made two kinds of chicken and pork, and I made two flavors of chicken. You can make it according to your own preferences
-
Add starch water to each filling and stir evenly
-
The casing is put on the enema artifact
-
Don't be anxious when enema, otherwise it will break easily. I was a little anxious at the beginning, so I kept squeezing it. After filling, I cut it into small sections with string, and then hung it in a ventilated place for two or three days. In the photo, it looks like it has been drying for two days
-
After drying, we use a large basin of water to heat it to 80 degrees, which is when many small bubbles emerge from the basin
-
Turn off the heat, add the intestines and simmer for 25 minutes
-
After simmering, take out and let cool
-
After cooling, remove the threads and store the excess in the refrigerator
-
Just put it in a pan and fry it until golden brown in the morning. You can also bake it in the oven. It’s very fragrant
