Super simple Barbie birthday cake (not too beautiful)
Overview
If you like it, just follow me. Search WeChat for [xingxing_sichu] or [Xingxing Private Kitchen] to follow me! All the foodies are here (⊙o⊙) I have liked Barbie cakes for a long time, but I have a boy and have never made one. So for my son’s little friend’s birthday, I made Barbie for the baby. Because the baby was sick recently and couldn’t eat sugar, so I used xylitol as a sugar substitute. Suddenly I found that eating cakes like this is stress-free. You can also try it! And you don’t need to decorate this cake (⊙o⊙). I think it is a relatively simple and effective cake

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare eight-inch chiffon embryos and divide them into three equal parts. Wash and cut the mango into cubes and set aside (for chiffon embryos, you can find my chiffon cake recipe)
-
Boil a 17 cm Barbie doll in boiling water, wipe off the moisture, and wrap it with plastic wrap where the cream needs to be applied
-
Whip the cream and sugar until there are obvious lines and set aside. (Once the cream starts to stop flowing, be careful not to over-whip it. Beat it twice and stop to check. The whipped cream will hang at a corner when you lift the whisk. That state is a bit like the state of the egg whites in the chiffon when it is lifted up from the hook. The whipped cream is prone to not being smooth)
-
Start making the cake layers. Spread a little cream on one layer of cake, put a layer of fruit on it, spread a little more cream on it, and then put on another layer of cake. After putting 3 layers of cake at a time, only put cream on the last layer of cake without putting fruit.
-
After all the additions are done, touch the outside of the dough well (don’t rush this, take your time, because the outer layer is decorated, so you don’t have to worry about how smooth the dough should be), put the Barbie in the right position, there is no need to find a hole in advance, because the cake is soft, just insert the Barbie directly
-
Leave a small amount of cream enough for the white bubbles on the top of the cake. Color the rest of the cream (the color can be adjusted according to your preference), put it into the decorating tape, and use scissors to cut a small opening below (if you can't find the feeling, cut a little bit, otherwise the cut will be too thick and unsightly). Just start sending it out one by one
-
Finally, squeeze out the decorative strips, put the remaining white cream into the piping bag, cut a small opening with scissors, and squeeze the white balls. When squeezing the balls, hold the piping tape in one place for a while and it will become a round ball
