Fried meatballs are a favorite food among the family. When you have free time, make more and freeze them in the refrigerator. They are delicious when cooked in soup or as a side dish.

Clean the pork and chop into mince.

Add rice wine, ginger powder, light soy sauce, and dark soy sauce to the meat filling and mix well. Add water in batches and mix well. Each time the water is completely absorbed, add the next one until half a bowl of water is added. Use chopsticks to stir vigorously in the same direction until it becomes gelatinous. Add salt and five-spice powder to taste, and marinate for 15 minutes to infuse the flavor.

Squeeze the meat filling into balls in the palm of your hand.

Heat the wok and add vegetable oil.

Heat the oil until it is 70% hot, add the meatballs one by one, and fry until one side is golden brown and flip over.
