Put it into a steamer over high heat and steam it for seven to eight minutes. The specific time depends on the thickness of the pumpkin

Crush the steamed pumpkin with the back of a small spoon.

Add glutinous rice flour to the crushed pumpkin. This process needs to be added little by little. There is no need to add water, because the pumpkin itself has a lot of water

Knead into a smooth dough and let it rest for five minutes

Knead the dough into a long strip and cut into medium-sized pieces. I forgot to take a photo of the strip

Press the dough into thin slices with your hands, and put the bean paste filling in the middle. You can also knead the filling in advance. I squeezed the bean paste directly onto the dough sheet.

Knead into small dumplings as shown

After wrapping, roll the dumplings in the soaked glutinous rice until the dumplings are evenly coated with glutinous rice
