Ingredients
Steps
-
Sift low-gluten flour, sugar, and salt together to form a mixed powder
-
Cut the butter into small pieces and pour it on the flour
-
Knead gently with your hands until the flour and butter form into irregular powder
-
Pour the egg yolk and milk into the kneaded powder
-
Slowly mix the dry and wet ingredients, being careful not to over-knead the dough to avoid gluten formation, which may cause the pie crust to shrink excessively during baking
-
Place the dough into a bag and refrigerate to rest for at least 30 minutes
-
Take the loosened pie crust and roll it out with a rolling pin
-
Gently place it on the baking sheet
-
Press it tightly and remove the excess
-
Use a small fork to make little holes on top to avoid swelling and deformation during baking
-
Cover the pie crust with tin foil and put a heavy object on it, which can be stones or some beans
-
Put it in the oven at 180 degrees and 190 degrees for 15 minutes (the temperature of each oven is different and depends on the situation)
-
Take it out after 15 minutes
-
Spread figs on top and bake at the same temperature for another 5 minutes
-
Crispy and sweet~😍
