Homemade ice flower fried dumplings
Overview
My family rarely makes ice flower dumplings. I made steamed dumplings stuffed with green radish at noon today, so I tried making fried ice flower dumplings. The finished product turned out very well, with golden color, even ice flowers, and very crispy.

Steps
-
Grate the green radish into shreds and blanch it in water. After cooling, squeeze out the water and add various seasonings and mix the fillings.
-
Blanch half of the flour, add an appropriate amount of room temperature water to each half and mix into a fluffy mass, then knead into a dough and let it sit for 20 minutes.
-
Wrap them one by one. After the water boils, put the steamed dumplings in and steam them for 10 minutes.
-
Prepare the ice cream batter.
-
Heat the pot and put the steamed dumplings into the pot.
-
Pour in an appropriate amount of ice flower paste. I adjusted the ice flower paste several times and tried various ratios several times. Finally, I felt that this ice flower was very beautiful and it was successful.
-
Fry over medium-low heat until golden brown and the batter evaporates until there is still a little oil at the bottom of the pan. Pay attention to the heat and do not burn it into a dark color.
-
I put a plate on top of the dumplings to drain the remaining oil into another small bowl, then held the plate down and turned it over. The fried dumplings were plated with ice flowers. The color was beautiful and the ice flowers were very crispy
