Colorful mochi
Overview
Hemp food is a kind of pasta and a traditional snack in the northwest region. In the north, it is called Ma Shi, but here we call it Mao Er. Today, I squeezed the spinach and carrots left in the refrigerator into juice and kneaded them into dough of different colors to make this colorful mochi that is more attractive. Doesn’t it look very beautiful?

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare the necessary ingredients
-
Wash the spinach, blanch it, and chop it into pieces
-
Put the chopped spinach into gauze and squeeze out the juice
-
Peel the carrots and grate into puree
-
Also put the carrot puree into gauze and squeeze out the juice
-
This is the squeezed carrot juice and spinach juice (of course, if you use a food processor to crush it, the juice yield will be higher)
-
Take 100 grams of flour, pour in 50 grams of carrot juice, and knead into a smooth dough
-
Similarly, the spinach dough and the original color dough are both made in the same way. After kneading into the dough, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for about 15 minutes
-
Roll out the dough to about 0.5cm thickness and cut into wide strips
-
Then cut into small pieces, sprinkle with some flour and mix well
-
Place a small piece of dough on the sushi mat, press it with your thumbs, and roll it forward until it rolls up
-
The color of the prepared mochi is very beautiful, and it is delicious when stir-fried, stewed, or mixed with food
