Vegetarian hat soup
Overview
Vegetarian hat soup is our specialty breakfast here. It costs three yuan a bowl. It is paired with sesame pancakes or fried dough sticks. It is very appetizing. It is a spicy and sour soup based on pepper, vinegar, and ginger. A bowl of it in winter will keep you warm all over.

Slice onion and ginger, you can add more ginger.

Pour a little cooking oil and a little sesame oil into the pot (optional), add peppercorns, star anise, green onion, ginger and stir until fragrant.
