Stir-fried snow peas

Stir-fried snow peas

Overview

Snow pea is a plant of the genus Pea in the Papilionaceae family. It is an annual twining herb with a height of 90 to 180cm. The first area where snow peas were cultivated was along the Thailand-Myanmar border about 12,000 years ago [1]. Snow peas (Snow peas) are not produced in the Netherlands. They are called snow peas because the Dutch brought them to China from their place of origin. The round-bodied snow peas are also called sugar snappeas, and the flat-bodied ones are called green beans or snowpeas. There are also many other names such as small cold beans, Huai beans, madou, green adzuki beans, stay beans, golden beans, back beans, wheat peas, wheat beans, kidney beans, hemp beans, country beans, soft pod peas, pod peas, sweet beans, lotus beans, green spots, green peas and other names. Can be used for food. Mainly edible tender pods, native to the Mediterranean coast and western Asia. Dutch pea tender pods are crisp and fragrant and have high nutritional value.
