During the Lantern Festival, eating Yuanxiao, making glutinous rice balls in the south, and rolling Yuanxiao in the north, symbolizes family reunion and sweetness in the new year. This is also a very traditional folk custom in my country. My family and I love to eat this glutinous rice dumpling. The black sesame and peanuts are not only high in nutritional value, but also rich in flavor. They are soft, glutinous and sweet in the mouth and are very delicious. I always make more of this stuffing and store it in the refrigerator. I can pack it anytime I want to eat it, which is very convenient.
