Childhood delicacy---five-spice edamame
Overview
I went back to the countryside during the National Day and brought a lot of fresh vegetables, and edamame was one of them. In order to get rid of it as soon as possible, I made this spiced edamame dish. I remember when I was a kid, my mother often cooked this dish to accompany my father’s drinks. At that time, I didn’t have money to buy vegetables, so I cooked edamame beans in different ways. The edamame beans were all grown at home. I really wanted to own a vegetable plot and grow what I wanted to eat. Now this has become a luxury. . . . . . .
