Overview
Sweet potato syrup is a traditional Cantonese syrup. It was a sweet soup that was very popular after meals when I was a kid, just like red bean paste and mung bean paste. Traditional sweet potato syrup requires a lot of ginger and brown sugar to make it taste like home.
