Steamed Carrot Sakura
Overview
Carrot cherry is the green seedling on the carrot. We call it carrot cherry here. It is a seasonal dish. In winter, when carrots are harvested, the young cherry blossoms are picked and can be steamed and eaten. People in Henan love steamed vegetables, and many ingredients can be steamed. This carrot cherry is also a typical example of waste recycling. In the past, people would use this to satisfy their hunger when there was not enough food to eat, but now it has become a rarity. I want to buy it, but I can't. My mother-in-law didn't know where to get some. I steamed it and ate it as if I had found a treasure. It was really delicious. I ate a big bowl and even saved the steamed buns.

Carrots and cherry blossoms are all very tender parts. Wash them clean and control the water. I like them when they look green

Add ground ginger, salt and five-spice powder to taste

Add vinegar, light soy sauce, chili oil, sesame oil and a small amount of cold boiled water to the minced garlic and mix into juice
